Celebrating Epiphany in French lessons
This week, in French, we celebrated Epiphany, also called Three kings’ day, by cutting the “galette”, a special French cake. This is a special cake, because a toy (la fève) is placed inside the cake.
Once the galette is cut, a child hides under the table to give the name of the person that will be served next.
The person who finds the fève becomes King or Queen for the day and wears the crown.
