Year Six Coding with Heathrow Challenge
On the 17th of September 2018 the pupils of Year Six at Bedfont Primary School got the amazing opportunity to take part in the Heathrow primary school coding challenge. The pupils were all introduced to three amazing people who had all come in to talk to the year six classes. These people spoke to the children about the jobs at Heathrow airport, the skills of coding, the cargo in planes and much more. Two of the people that had come in both had jobs at Heathrow airport and talked to the children about their fascinating jobs. The children also got the chance to split into groups and take part in coding activities and fun math sheets this was the contest. Overall the children had a lot of fun and really enjoyed themselves.
