BBC Daily Lessons
BBC iPlayer and the Red Button service will host Bitesize Daily. These are six different 20 minute shows. Maths, Science and English will be covered in dedicated programmes, and other subjects such as History, Geography, Music and Art will also be covered.
These will be organised on the right hand side of the website. You will find daily English, daily Maths, Science and other subjects.
Daily Reading and Daily Maths
We have suggested a number of online resources for your child to use (with your support) while at home. These include Bugclub for reading and Mathletics for mathematics learning. Links and information on these can be found in the relevant tabs.
Along with advice on English and Maths we will set your child some small project tasks related to different areas of the national curriculum. We will update the website with new home learning tasks regularly.
If you've completed some work that you're proud of, or maybe created something extra to the homework set, why not let us know? Send us a photo - we'll be monitoring the class email addresses while we're away and will post photos you send in on the gallery tab on the right.
Remember - the class email addresses are only for sending work in - your teachers may not be able to respond to emails. The only exception will be if you require a password reminder – email Mr McAllan: email@example.com and he will help when he can.
Please note, by submitting photos to class email addresses you give permission for them to be included in our gallery pages displaying work. If you do not wish the work to be displayed but would still like to send it to your teacher, please state ‘not for website display’ in your email.
