Work to Complete - updated 13th July
For homework this half term, you will be exploring the world of the Ancient Egyptians.
Task 8: This is a task that will require you to do some more research and get creative!
The Egyptians believed in life after death. The Egyptians were mummified because they believed that they had to preserve their bodies so they could use them in the afterlife. The Egyptians believed that when they died, they would make a journey to another world where they would lead a new life. They would need all the things they had used when they were alive, so their families would put those things in their graves.
Research the discovery of different Pharaoh tombs. Imagine you were an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh – what items would you want in your tomb?
We look forward to seeing your ideas! If you would like to share this with us please take pictures and send them to your child’s class email below.
