Imagine you are a Mayan King, designing a new city from scratch.
Think about who will live in your city, what jobs people would need to do and what buildings they would need.
Research one of the Maya cities to help with your design. Think about:
– Layout of the cities
– Recreational, religious and living areas
– Evidence of Maya culture e.g. stelae, writing, astronomical/ceremonial sites
