Home Learning

Learning at home is very important, and it can also be fun. Please use the resources below to support the learning of your child.


We provide a variety of home learning experiences that can be accessed through this site. Please, do make use of them. Our partnership in learning is essential.

Please follow the Supporting your child with learning link to access the full range of resources. Homework is also set for children, and you will be informed of the homework that is expected. Reading is a daily expectation, and we have provided a variety of book lists and resources on the Supporting your child with learning link.

In the event of lockdown:

Learning online expectations

The school will provide learning opportunities for the whole school day. We will use a combination of live lessons, recorded teaching and practical learning experiences/project work. The aim is to engage and continue to inspire our children. Some use of school learning books made be used, and you will be contacted where necessary by your year group. 

Learning Platforms and paper copies

Our learning platforms are listed below. We have school equipment that we will share with families so that access to the learning platforms can be accessed by all. If you do not have access to the online platforms, please contact the school office. Arrangements can be made to provide you with the equipment you need to start online learning. Paper copies of learning activities can be obtained by contacting the school office.

We expect all children to engage with all learning activities provided. If your child is ill or is struggling to gain access then please do not hesitate to contact the school office. If your child is ill during this period please make contact with the school office. If your child is not accessing the online learning, we will contact you within 24 - 48 hours to offer any support needed.

Teaching staff will work alongside and monitor work completed throughout the school day to give your child timely feedback. 

Children with Special Educational Needs will receive learning appropriate to there learning needs. This will be provided by the class teacher.
